He took his first steps in theater at the end of the nineties, during his Economics studies at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In 2000 he was selected as actor and singer for David Fennario's musical Joe Beef staged under the direction of Ken Gass at the Goldoni Theater in Venice. He perfected himself over the years by attending various theater workshops, with Alain Maratrat (IUAV Theater Sciences and Techniques) and Antonino Varvarà (Venetian Theater Academy).
In 2002, together with friends from the Venetian theater scene, he founded the company “Officina Malamerce” with which he performed the text Hamletmachine by Heiner Müller, I wanted to poison the Happy Meals, taken from the text “The story of Ronaldo the clown of MC Donald's ” by Rodrigo Garcia and La Recherche, freely inspired by the text by Marcel Proust. In 2003 at the Teatro Goldoni in Venice he starred in the show Il Villaggio degli Sciocchi by Jon Lazarus, directed by Giuseppe Emiliani. In 2005 he collaborated as an actor in the "Directing Course" held by Walter Le Moli for the Science and Techniques degree course of the IUAV Theater and set up the company "Il Banco del Bagatto" with Giovanni Tomassetti with which he staged L'Udienza di Vaclav Havel directed by Anna Manfio. In 2006 he was an actor with the "Teatro a l'Avogaria" company during the 38th International Theater Festival of the Venice Biennale for the staging La Finta Ammalata o sia lo Speziale by Carlo Goldoni directed by Bepi Morassi. Again in 2006 he was at the Salzburg Festival as a mime for the Opera Lucio Silla by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, directed by Jurgen Flimm. In 2011 and 2018 he collaborated as a mime with the Arena di Verona Foundation for the opera Manon Lescaut directed by Graham Vick. For the Rossini Opera Festival in 2015 he took part in La Gazza Ladra directed by Damiano Michieletto and in the same year he was at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza for Il Signor Bruschino by Gioachino Rossini directed by Bepi Morassi. For the Budapest Opera House he is the leading actor in 2018 in the play Chrysanthemums or the death of Liù by Balázs Szálinger directed by Bálint Szilágyi. He returned to the Rossini Opera Festival in 2019 for La Semiramide conducted by Graham Vick. In the meantime he took part in the Tournée of the Teatro La Fenice in Japan with Verdi's Othello directed by Francesco Micheli and in 2016 in Oman with L'Elisir d'Amore by Gaetano Donizetti, directed by Bepi Morassi. Since 2003 he has regularly collaborated with the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Among the directors with whom he has worked in the opera performances: Luca Ronconi, Ermanno Olmi, Eimuntas Nekrošius, Robert Carsen, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Damiano Michieletto, Calixto Bieito, Günter Krämer, Walter Le Moli, Davide Livermore.
