Constantin Beschieru

violinist

Born in Chisinau in the Moldavian Republic, he begins to study violin at the age of six at the music school “C. Porumbescu”. After his excellent Moldavian Diploma he graduates also at the Music Conservatory of Venice, Italy, in 2004 and 2008 (II level).  In 2005 he studies in the USA, performing often as a soloist, in chamber music groups and as Concertmaster of the Texas University of Music Orchestra (Houston). He follows perfecting courses with Cornelia Bronzetti, Kenneth Goldsmith, Andrzej Grabiec, Lucie Robert, Vagram Saradjian, Uri Pianka, Emanuel Borok, S. Accardo, P. Vernikov, I. Grubert, P. Berman and others. He has performed as soloist with various orchestras including the Teatro La Fenice, L’Accademia Vivaldiana, I Virtuosi di Venezia, I Virtuosi Italiani, and others. He has won numerous prizes in National and International competitions for solo violin, chamber music and string quartet: first prize at the "Premio Francesco Geminiani" of Verona (2004), first prize at the "Best graduated violinist of Veneto in 2004” (2005), first prize at the International Competition “E. Coca” (1999), second prize at the International Competition for Chamber Music “G. Rospigliosi" - Duo section (2005), first prize at the International Competition for Chamber Music "G. Rospigliosi"- Quartet section (2006) and second prize at the International Competition “Marco Fiorindo” (Turin 2006) with the Ludus Quartet.He plays with the Virtuosi Italiani, often performing as soloist. Occasionally he is performing as Concertmaster for the FVG Orchestra and for the Filarmonia Veneta “G. F. Malipiero” Orchestra. He is currently collaborating with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale.
